Amir condoles on Sinai attack – Militants kill 12 in Egypt

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 9, (Agencies): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences on Monday to Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi, expressing his deepest sympathies over the victims of an attack on a security checkpoint in Sinai province.
In his cable, His Highness the Amir denounced the terrorist attack that left a number of security force members and civilians dead or injured, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery. His Highness the Amir also voiced Kuwait’s vehement condemnation of all forms and manifestations of terrorism.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al- Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to the Egyptian President.
