Amir attends operetta

KUWAIT CITY, April 4, (KUNA): Under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al- Jaber Al-Sabah, a National Operetta entitled, “We are all Kuwaitis” was held Monday morning at Bayan Palace.

In attendance during the operetta were His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, senior sheikhs, Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khaled Al- Jarrah Al-Sabah and other state offi cials. The operetta kicked off with the national anthem followed by verses from the Holy Quran, to which students from various schools then proceeded to unveil an assortment of portraits depicting nationalistic themes.
