KUWAIT CITY, July 24: Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality announced that Ahmadi Municipality issued 139 citations against violations related to advertisements in June 2018, reports Al-Seyassah daily.Director of Audit and Followup Department at Kuwait Municipality Sa’ad Al-Shaibah explained that the violations including lack of necessary updates, placement of the advertisement license in a hidden place and installation of advertisements without obtaining necessary licenses. A total of 2,906 advertisements were removed because they distort the look of the streets and block vision for motorists.The department urged the owners of commercial stores to ensure they obtain the necessary licenses, calling on all citizens and expatriates to report any complaints they may have by either calling its hotline number 139 or contacting the municipality via its social media account @kuwmun.
