Alert over “women viagra”

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 28: In response to news item published in the local newspapers recently titled “Women viagra on its way to Kuwait”, health sources disclosed that concerned authorities carefully review any application submitted to register medicines that boost sex drive in women known as “ women viagra”, in line with law no. 302/80 that regulates the process of registering all medicines and new pharmaceutical products, reports Al-Rai daily.

The same sources pointed to nearly 16 requirements for registering medicines and new pharmaceutical products, among them certificate of analysis and clinical study from the manufacturer to facilitate registration, noting the process is similar to that of most countries across the globe when a local agent files an application to register the above mentioned medicine.
