KUWAIT CITY, July 1: Minister of Municipality and Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Shaya Al-Shaya during a meeting with the Director-General of Environment Protection Authority (EPA) and Chairman of the Board of Directors Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sabah and member of the Municipal Council and Chairperson of the Environment Committee Maha Al-Baghli and representatives of the Ministry of Commerce and Kuwait Municipality discussed the integrated system to deal with the current situation of waste of all kinds in the country and to find the best solutions.

Al-Shaya then toured the Environmental Data Department, where he was briefed on the Environmental Control Information System concerned with providing information and data. During the tour the minister said he is proud of the efforts and services provided by the authority to protect the environment.

Meanwhile, the EPA responded to a report of falcon smuggling and fungal organisms at sea, in coordination with the General Department of the Coast Guard. The report said many types of organisms were seized and care was provided for the falcons and then returned to their natural habitats. By Abdel Nasser Al-Aslami Al-Seyassah Staff
