KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19: The horse Al-Sanad from the Al-Sayhan Stable won the fourth round of the 1,200-meter race in the Fourth Farwaniya Equestrian Tournament.

According to a press release, the cup was presented to the director of Al-Sayhan Stable by Salem Al-Khalifa on behalf of Marzouq Al-Khalifa Al-Shimmari, in the presence of the Board Spokesperson of Farwaniya Equestrian Club Mubarak Al-Daihani and other members of the board.

Al-Sanad won the first place after a stiff competition with the horse Aqdar from Abu Shaiba Stable which came second while the horse Kulak Ghala from Al-Uwaid Stable came third.

Meanwhile, the horse Atawi from Al-Saleh Stable won the sixth round of the 1,600-meter race. The victory cup was presented to the Director of the Al-Saleh Stable by Ebaid Meshan Al-Daihani and Mubarak Al-Daihani.

The Board Spokesperson of the Farwaniya Equestrian Club Mubarak Al-Daihani thanked Marzouq Al-Khalifa Al-Shimmari and Ebaid Al-Meshan Al-Daihani for their great support to the Farwaniya Equestrian Club.

He affirmed the keenness of the Board of Directors to enhance the spirit of sportsmanship with the aim of developing the country’s sport sector in general.

In addition, the horse Abu Al-Bashayer from Mutlaq Al-Utaibi Stable won first place in the first round of the 1,000-meter race. The horse Salman Al-Hazem from Al-Uwaid Stable came second and the horse Al-Muda’ee from Al-Uwaid Stable came third.

The horse Ghala Mubarak from Al-Uwaid Stable came first in the 2,000-meter race, the horse Raad Al-Shamal from Al-Faramawi Stable came second and the horse Qetali from Al-Daban Stable came third.

 The horse Prestige from Al-Ghayam Stable came first in the 1,800-meter race, while the horse Sayaf from Al-Sayhan Stable came second and the horse Daham Al-Khail from Al-Khedr Stable came third.
