Al-Mutlaq said the workers form the base of Kuwait’s progress and Kuwait should celebrate this international event. He added the delay in declaring the International Workers Day or the Labor Day as a public holiday is not astonishing particularly in the ongoing situation which confronts the rights of the laborers. He pointed out the actions of some government offi cials have resulted in promoting negative feelings among the younger employees.
