Ahmad Al-Mutairi, a member of Kuwait disabled athletic team, said Monday he was happy for winning 100m running race in the Championship of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), which was recently held in Qatar.
Speaking to KUNA after the team returned home from Qatar, Al-Mutairi attributed the achievement to two months of intensive training in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This win, he added, would qualify him to the Paralympic games in Brazil next month. He noted that he finished the 100m race with 17.53 seconds. (KUNA)
