‘Airport-project biggest in dev plan’

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 16: Project Director of Kuwait International Airport Terminal 2 Project Faisal Al-Ostad affirms that this project is the biggest among the projects included in the development plan, and it will transform Kuwait into a regional hub for the Middle East, especially since the design of the project will make it one of the most developed and attractive airports in the world in terms of the latest technology, environmental standards and services to achieve high-level comfort, reports Al-Nahar daily.

He revealed that the execution of the project is on schedule and is expected to be completed in four years. Al-Ostad explained that the new terminal, after it is launched, will be the first in the world to be built on an area of seven million square meters and will have 51 gates adjacent to the building. It will accommodate all types of airplanes including the biggest kind worldwide such as the Airbus A380.
