Air ambulance contract

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 26: The Ministry of Finance has given its nod to extend the contract of air ambulance for 6 months starting from March 6. The contract is worth KD 1.885 million, reports Al-Rai daily.

However, when Ministry of Health sent a letter to the Ministry of Finance to extend the contract it was told to follow the procedures to avoid violating of the controls and bylaws of the tender. The Ministry of Finance has said the contract can be extend provided that the cost is deducted from the second chapter in the Ministry’s budget for fiscal year 2020-2021.
