Agha Khan sees off rivals for Cup

Winner from Al-Matraqa stable receiving the trophy

In the 24th Farwaniya Equestrian Club Horseracing Meet, which is part of the late Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Festival held on Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Racecourse, the horse Agha Khan from Al-Matraqa Stable won the cup of the fifth setting, a 1,200-meter race for Class 1 horses, by finishing the race within 1:15:55 minutes.

The horse Alqam from Al- Qeni Stable came second and the horse Al-Zanati from Ajab Al-Khedr Stable came third. At the end of the race, Sheikh Khaled Fahd Al-Saad accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Farwaniya Equestrian Club Mubarak Al- Daihani handed the cup to the Chairman of Al-Matraqa Stable. In the 2,400-meter race of first setting for Class 4 horses, the horse Dajeej from Al-Faramawi Stable came first by finishing the race in 2:43:13 minutes.

The horse Jahran from Al- Hariri Stable came second and the horse Al-Fatah from Al-Kehli Stable came third. In the 1,000-meter race of second setting for Class 3 horses, the horse Azba Enti from Al-Qeni Stable took first place by finishing the race in 1:02:17 minutes. The horse Muhja from Meshal Al-Muhareb Stable came second and the horse Salman Al-Hazem from Al-Rathan Stable came third. In the 1,600-meter race of third setting for Class 3 horses, the horse Noman Khaled from Al-Saihan Stable took first place by finishing the race within 1:34:59 minutes.

The horse Al-Sceb from Al- Metli’e Stable came second and the horse Metadi from Al-Bathal Stable came third. In addition, the horse Haya Ta’al from Al-Khethia Stable came first in the 2,000-meter race of fourth setting by finishing the race in 2:11:06 minutes. The horse Rajwan from Al-Maimouni Stable came second and the horse Satam from Al-Ediala Stable came third.
