Abul denies rumor on plots of land

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: State Minister for Housing Affairs Yasser Abul has denied the rumor that went viral on social media concerning plots affiliated to the ministry that were flooded due to the recent rainfall in the country, stressing that those plots do not belong to the ministry, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

After hearing about this rumor, the minister raised the issue to a technical committee led by the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research.

This committee has already submitted its report in this regard. Another committee led by Fatwa and Legislation Department was also formed to look into the legal aspects and to refer those who raised such allegations to the Public Prosecution. He indicated that he has received their reports and will take necessary measures based on the contents of the reports.
