About 1.2m passengers traveled through Kuwait airport in April

Air cargo totals 1,172,043 kg

KUWAIT CITY, May 21: Statistics issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the month of April showed that the number of passengers who traveled through Kuwait International Airport reached about 1.2 million – 598,591 arrivals and 601,927 departures, reports Al- Qabas daily.

The daily obtained a copy of the statistical report which revealed that the number of fl ights in April totaled 9,700 including 417 non-commercial aircraft; while air cargo totaled 1,172,043 kilograms – 689,278 kilograms incoming and 482,765 kilograms outgoing.

The statistics added that passenger movement increased by 12 percent compared to the same month in 2017, while the movement of air cargo increased by 14 percent and commercial aircraft by 12 percent
