A female prisoner dies from coronavirus

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 22: The Ministry of Interior stated that one of the inmates in the central prison succumbed to death due to infection from Coronavirus, the inmate was suffering from other chronic diseases too.

The 59 years old inmate suffered shortness of breath, immediately health and medical measures were taken towards her and she was transferred to Farwania Hospital on the 15th of June, but she passed away on 22nd June, a week after she was hospitalized.

The administration emphasized that all precautionary, preventive and health measures to prevent the spread of the virus has been taken in prison and follows the instructions of the health authorities in order to ensure the health and safety of inmates
