KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22:  Police have arrested a 40-year-old Egyptian for allegedly raping a 9-year-old Egyptian girl, reports Al-Anba daily. According to a security source, the man was arrested after the victim’s father informed the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry. The girl has been referred to Forensics and the alleged rapist will be produced before the Public Prosecution.Missing woman found: The Farwaniya police have arrested a young Kuwaiti woman who was reported missing a year ago, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources the suspect was spotted walking in Khaitan at a late evening hour and when she saw the police car approaching she attempted to escape. The woman has been detained for interrogation to know why she left her house and with whom she was staying during her absence from home before handing her over to her family.Generators stolen: The Sulaibiya police have arrested three people -- a Kuwaiti, and 2 bedoun — for stealing power generators from camps in Jahra, reports Al-Anba daily. The arrest came after police received several complaints. The bedoun were caught red-handed with a stolen generator in their pickup truck. During interrogation the suspects admitted to the charge and gave police information about their Kuwaiti accomplice.
