9 murder suspects bailed – Travel ban imposed

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 28: The Public Prosecution has released on bail nine suspects in the Souq Sharq murder case and imposed a travel ban on them. Detectives of General Department of Criminal Investigations interrogated the suspects over the murder of a Kuwaiti citizen, identified as A.Dh, during a quarrel at the parking area of Souq Sharq last Thursday.

They then recommended to release the suspects on bail pending outcome of the investigations. Preliminary investigations revealed that both parties involved in the fight were acquaintances and had pending disputes.

The fight started with a mere “Why are you staring at me?” and escalate to a fistfight during which one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed the deceased and his twin brother.
