KUWAIT CITY, April 13: An unknown individual robbed an expatriate of his mobile phone and wallet in Fahaheel area after threatening to attack him with an electric saw, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to security sources, the victim lodged a complaint at Fahaheel Police Station, informing securitymen that he was walking along a street when a person in white attire stopped him and threatened to cut his body in pieces with an electric saw if he did not hand over his wallet and cellphone. Out of fear, the victim did as he was asked and the suspect fled from the location. Securitymen have launched investigations to find and arrest the unknown suspect.

Meanwhile Ahmadi Security Directorate in a recent campaign headed by Deputy Security Chief of Ahmadi Brigadier Abdullah Safaa Al-Mullah arrested 78 people in different parts of the governorate for various offenses. Public Relations and Security Media Department stated that securitymen closed the entry and exits points to the governorate and managed to arrest 78 people; 14 of them had absconded from their sponsors and carried expired residencies, 21 were involved in civil cases and two people in possession of drug substances. They also registered 21 traffic violations, impounded six vehicles and one motorbike, and recovered a stolen vehicle.
