KUWAIT, Aug 14: Kuwait's Ministry of Health said, 699 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the past 24 hours but no death cases were registered.


MoH spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, in a statement to KUNA, said total registered infections climbed to 75,185 and with death 5 fatalities are at 494.

The new batch of the cases included 460 of Kuwaiti citizens and 239 of non Kuwaitis.
The cases were distributed according to health zones as following: 239 in Al-Ahmadi, 135 in Al-Jahra, 124 in Hawally, 121 in Farawaniya and 80 in the capital.

He said 115 patients were in the intensive care units, while total patients receiving treatment were 7,951.
