6 deaths and 157 new cases in Saudi; 2 deaths and 150 new cases in UAE

RIYADH, April 1 (KUNA) — Saudi Arabia announced, Wednesday, the sixth death from the coronavirus (COVID-19) with infections reaching 157 individuals, bringing the total number to 1,720.
According to Health authorities, recoveries in Saudi Arabia are at 264 after 99 individuals overcome the disease.
Earlier today, Saudi Hajj authorities called Muslims around the world to be patient concerning their Hajj preparations due to the vagueness surrounding the future of the fight against the coronavirus.

Oman

The Sultanate of Oman announced, Wednesday, the discovery of 18 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections to 210.
According to the Oman News Agency (ONA), the number of cases recovering from the coronavirus was at 34 with one death.
Yesterday, Omani authorities took the decision to relieve most public sector employees from working unless their job required their presence.

UAE

The UAE has announced 150 new cases of coronavirus and the death of two people bringing the country’s total number to 815, including 61 recoveries and eight deaths. The two deaths included a 62-year-old Asian and a 78-year-old Gulf citizen. Each suffered chronic health conditions.

QATAR

Qatar has detected 54 new confirmed cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections to 835 as of Wednesday, Qatar News Agency reported citing the public health ministry.
