536 Kuwaiti employees quit

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: Minister of Public Works and State Minister for Housing Affairs Jinan Bushehri said 536 Kuwaiti employees resigned from the ministry from 2016 to 2018 without stating reasons for their resignations and that they resigned on their own will, reports Al-Qabas daily.

In response to the query of MP Khalil Al-Saleh, Bushahri stressed that the ministry spares no effort in attracting national manpower to occupy different positions, especially those occupied by the least number of citizens.

Meanwhile, the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has announced that it will no longer receive representatives of companies (mandoub) for obtaining work permits, indicating these representatives should carry out such transactions in the service centers affiliated to PAM, reports Al-Anba daily. These service centers are as follows: Capital Governorate Center, Tahiri Tower, Ahmadi Service Center, Jaber Al-Ali Telephone Exchange, Farwaniya Service Center, Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh Telephone Exchange, Jahra Service Center and Jahra Telephone Exchange.
