KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: Kuwait Health Ministry listed 505 coronavirus (COVID- 19) cases in addition to three deaths in the past 24 hours, raising the caseload of contamination with the virus to 162,282 and the fatalities’ toll to 957.

The ministry, in a statement on Monday, added that number of people who are receiving treatment at intensive care units amounted to 49, thus the whole count of the confirmed infection cases and remained under medical care stood at 6,022. It pointed out that 8,426 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours bringing the total of such examinations to 1.479,530.

The ministry announced earlier 537 recoveries from the virus, during the last 24 hours, bringing the total of the recuperated to 155,303. The ongoing coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, and its direct health, economic, and social consequences, played a key role in undermining stability of international energy markets including renewable and clean energy, the head of Kuwait’s environmental body has affirmed.
