Applicants rejecting jobs based on their qualification will be ‘frozen’

MP Saleh Ashour

KUWAIT CITY, June 5: Member of the Replacement and Employment Crisis Committee of the National Assembly, MP Saleh Ashour said job applications of 5,000 Kuwaitis registered with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) will be rejected because they do not hold even high school certificates, particularly of those who refuse to take jobs commensurate with their qualifications and those who do not upgrade their data, reports Al-Rai daily.

Ashour explained those who hold secondary school certifi- cates and are not below 25 years of age cannot register with the CSC. He pointed out, when jobs are offered to those who hold certifi- cates below the secondary school, a majority of them reject.

The daily said, in such cases the CSC will coordinate with the Parliamentary committee to freeze their applications.

However, in future a declaration will be published demanding each applicant to update their data. Applications of those who reject to take jobs based on their qualification will be ‘frozen’.

Meanwhile, Endorsement of the financial privileges for 590 employees in the Ministry of Oil is one of the most important financial requests submitted to the Civil Service Commission (CSC), reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.
