KUWAIT, May 31: Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Cooperative Societies Khaled Al-Hudhaiban announced Sunday that the Union received 12 million masks from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for distribution to all societies at a price of 90 fils per pill.

Al-Hudaiban told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the sale price of one package for the public that contains 50 masks is 4.5 Kuwaiti dinars (about 14.5 US dollars), pointing out that each association has 3600 boxes of masks.

It is noteworthy that the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies was founded in 1971, marking the beginning of collective work in the consumer cooperation sector in the country, its leadership and defense of the interests of member societies and their representation in Arab and international forums. (KUNA)
