5 Asians in police net for selling entry visas to ‘deported’ expats

KUWAIT CITY, May 16: Five Asian expatriates were arrested for selling entry visas to deported expatriates and facilitating their entry back into the country, reports Al- Seyassah daily.

The General Department for Public Relations and Media Security explained that the General Department for Residency Security received information about an Asian expatriate who was deported but managed to reenter the country.

After confirming the information, they arrested him. When questioned, he confessed that he bought an entry visa from a compatriot who then facilitated his entry back into the country.

Securitymen arrested the suspect, who revealed the identity of his four accomplices of the same nationality. All suspects were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
