5 Asians from Mahboula area to be deported

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 19: Security source stated that 5 Asian expats who were caught in a raid on two liquor factories in isolated area of Mahboula region were to be deported.

The five expatriates acknowledged they were running these both liquor factories in which large quantities of distilled liquor was found inside drinking water bottles along with manufacturing materials and tools.

According to a security source, information was received by the Director General of the Ahmadi Security Directorate, Major General Saleh Mattar and his assistant, Brigadier Walid Shihab, about two opposite apartments in a building in the Mahboula area was misused to manufacture liquor.

After investigations and making sure that the two apartments were used as distillation factory they were raided, and the five Asians were arrested and the seized alcohol was destroyed.
