KUWAIT CITY, Jan 10: Kuwait's daily coronavirus infections had risen by 414 over the past 24 hours to a cumulative total of 154,314, with 1 fatality reported the death rose to 943.
Some 4,364 people are currently hospitalized with the virus, 46 of whom are in intensive care units, according to health ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, adding that some 7,781 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 1,327,427 so far.
The ministry had earlier reported 279 fresh recoveries to up the total of those to have overcome the disease to 149,007, added the spokesman, urging nationals and expatriates alike to abide by health precautions, chiefly, social distancing rules, to halt the spread of the virus. (KUNA)
