4 for deportation

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3: General Traffic Department, as part of its efforts to maintain the safety of road users and to implement the traffic law, carried out several surprise traffic campaigns in all governorates of Kuwait for ten days from September 17 to September 27.

According to a press statement issued by the Public Relations and Security Media Department of Ministry of Interior, the campaigns resulted in the issuance of 31,890 traffic citations, impounding of 911 vehicles, detention of 13 individuals in traffic custody over grave traffic violations and the transfer of four expatriates to the deportation center for driving without a license.

The General Traffic Department affirmed the continuation of such traffic campaigns in all governorates round the clock to implement the law and ensure the safety of road users.
