30 illegals held in Ahmadi raid; Drifters damage roads

KUWAIT CITY, April 2: Some 30 individuals from different nationalities were arrested by Ahmadi securitymen in a recent campaign against residency law violators. A security source said the operation was conducted upon directives from Ahmadi Security Chief Brigadier Abdullah Safah, and it will continue over an indeterminate period to rid the governorate of law violators.

Drifters damage roads: Reckless driving and stunt performances by motorists of three sports cars in Sabah Al-Salem area resulted in damages to the roads, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a Kuwaiti woman about the risky activities of owners of three sports cars, securitymen rushed to the location to discover the reckless drivers had escaped but had damaged the roads. Investigations have been launched to find and arrest the suspects. Meanwhile, securitymen also launched investigations to find a group of reckless drivers who were performing dangerous stunts in Ardiya area.
