3 held with drugs at airport

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7 Three passengers who arrived at the Kuwait International Airport with drugs have been arrested and referred to the concerned authorities, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily quoting security sources said the three suspects were arrested in three different incidents. One of the suspects who arrived from an Asian country was found to be carrying with him a sachet of cocaine, three sachets of marijuana, a quantity of hashish and psychotropic substances.

The General Administration of Customs said in spite of the warnings and punishment meted out, diehard passengers continue to smuggle narcotics and drugs into the country, but the customs inspectors rise to the occasion to prevent such activities
