KUWAIT CITY, May 22: Three Egyptians were arrested for killing a compatriot by stabbing him four times in Farwaniya area.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received a call from the caretaker of a building in Farwaniya area about the attack, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and found a young man with deep stab wounds on his body.
They rushed him to Farwaniya Hospital but he was declared dead on arrival. They checked his details and discovered he was a 27-year old Egyptian expatriate. His corpse was referred to the Forensics team. During investigations, the building caretaker revealed that three Egyptians stabbed the victim and ran away. He provided securitymen with the descriptions of the suspects. Within a few hours, securitymen managed to arrest the suspects. When questioned, they confessed that the victim took a bag of methamphetamine from them but did not pay for it. When they tried to reach him for the money, he evaded them. They then waited near his residential building and then closed in on him. During the quarrel that ensued, they stabbed him several times.
A case of intentional murder was filed against them. Necessary action was taken to transfer the suspects to the Public Prosecution.
