3 deaths, 1,073 new infections of coronavirus in Kuwait, total 16,764

KUWAIT CITY, May 19: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced 1,073 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 16,764, while 3 deaths were reported as well bringing the fatalities’ toll up to 121.
In the daily press briefing, Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that 179 patients were in intensive care.
All new cases of corona infections are related contact and are under investigation among them, 231 are Kuwaitis, 232 are Indians, 181 are Egyptians, 102 are Bangladeshis and the rest are from other nationalities
Health areas: In Farwaniya 397, Ahmadi 258, Hawally 181, Jahra 124, and in Capital 113
Residential areas :Farwaniya 131, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh 77, Khaitan 76, Hawally 55
Earlier today, the Ministry announced the recovery of 342 patients, bringing the total to 4,681 recoveries
