24,000 Lyrica pills seized

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5: The Ministry of Interior, Jahara Security Directorate arrested a person in possession of 24,000 Lyrica pills. At a checkpoint security team was conducting its duties in the Taima area, a person stopped his vehicle and fled on foot, he was quickly followed up by the security personnel and arrested. On searching his vehicle 24,000 Lyrica pills were found. The accused admitted the seized items belonged to him and he was intending to sell them. He was referred to the competent authorities to take legal action against him.

The Ministry of Interior in its efforts to weed out the scourge of drugs will continue to pursue drug peddlers and smugglers.
