KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: A total of 22 Asian expatriates were arrested for running one of the largest liquor manufacturing factories in the country so far in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. According to security sources, when Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at Ministry of Interior Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali received information about the illegal liquor factory in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, he issued instructions to raid the factory.
A team of Farwaniya securitymen was formed for investigations. After confirming the information and taking necessary legal measures, the location was raided. The team confiscated 61 barrels of liquor, 400 liquor bottles and equipment used for manufacturing liquor. They arrested 22 Asian expatriates from the factory and referred them with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them
