KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Two Ethiopian expatriates died when their vehicle crashed into a lamppost on Wafra Road. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the accident, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location. They discovered that the vehicle was almost destroyed and the victims were inside the vehicle. They pulled out the victims to discover they had succumbed to severe injuries. The corpses were referred to the Forensics Department and a case was registered.
Bedoun robbed of KD 100,000: A 28-year old Jordanian man was arrested for robbing a Bedoun man of KD 100,000 in his possession in Sharq few days ago, reports Al- Seyassah daily. Securitymen are currently looking for his accomplices (2 Bedoun men and an Egyptian). The arrested individual led securitymen to the place where KD 80,000 was hidden.
KD 1,090 stolen from Syrian: Police are looking for two unidentified thieves for robbing a Syrian man in broad daylight, reports Al- Anba daily. According to the complainant, he withdrew KD 1,090 from a local bank branch and drove to his home. The suspects, who may have been following him, attacked him as soon as he parked his car and got out in front of a well-known sweet shop in Nugra and escaped with the bag containing the money. He added, although several people witnessed the scene, none of them came to his rescue for fear of being attacked.
5 wanted persons held: Capital securitymen arrested five individuals who are wanted by the law for civil and criminal related cases, and three individuals who violated the residency law during security campaigns that the officers launched in various parts of the Capital Governorate. According to security sources, Capital securitymen found a stolen vehicle in Faiha area. They also arrested an Asian expatriate who was caught selling pornographic movies near Fahad Al- Salem Street. All arrested individuals were referred to the concerned authorities where necessary measures were taken against them.
