2 Bangladeshis admit stabbing Kuwaiti, burning him to death for 3 bank cards, little cash

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 29: Two Bangladeshi expatriates have been arrested for murdering the Kuwaiti citizen whose burnt corpse was found few days ago in Arhiya area.
According to security sources, securitymen, after discovering the charred corpse of the citizen, checked the records of all the CCTV cameras in the area and identified two suspects.
A search ensued, and the suspects were eventually found and detained. When questioned, one of the suspects admitted to stabbing the victim in the head with a knife, and the other revealed that he rolled the corpse inside a carpet, placed it inside his vehicle, took it to a desert area and set it on fire.
When asked the reason behind the murder, they confessed that they murdered him to rob him, adding that they found three bank cards and KD 90 cash. They indicated that they were planning to leave to Bangladesh before getting caught. They were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
