16 Syrians & Egyptians to be deported in Jleeb brawl; property damaged

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: A quarrel broke out between Syrian and Egyptian residents of Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh area resulting in damages to a number of vehicles.

A total of 16 suspects have been referred for deportation by Ministry of Interior. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about a huge quarrel in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, securitymen rushed to the location and arrested 11 Egyptians and five Syrians who were fighting with each other using sticks and stones.

Investigations revealed that the reason for the quarrel was “glaring” which escalated when the friends of the initial quarrelers joined in. A total of 12 policemen had to exert efforts to control the quarrelers. A case was registered and necessary steps have been taken for the deportation of the suspects.
