132 domestic workers complaints solved

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: Director of Public Relations Department, official spokesperson of the Public Authority for Manpower, Aseel, revealed that the Department for Organizing Domestic Workers’ Recruitment has referred 611 complaints to the judiciary since April 1, 2019.

She said that the 481 domestic workers recruitment offices were registered and 1590 workers are registered on their files. The administration received 504 complaints in September, of which 132 were resolved amicably, and 1,761 dinars were collected for workers, 8,895 dinars for employers, and 44 licenses were renewed.
