130 foreign workers affected by food poisoning

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11: Public hospitals received on Sunday 130 foreign workers with symptoms of suspected food poisoning, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced.

The admitted expatriates work for a company executing a government project in the country, said the ministry statement. Farwaniya hospital received, treated and discharged 98 food poisoning cases, but a single patient was kept for further treatment. Al-Sabah Hospital received 10 cases and Al-Jahra hospital 22 cases. All of them were discharged after getting treatment.
