KUWAIT, April 23: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Trade and Industry announced the release of 12 citations issued to commercial stores that did not abide by the laws and decisions in force regarding the procedures concerned to face the repercussions of the spread of Corona Virus (Covid 19).


MOCI said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that its inspection teams monitored 381 cooperative societies, central markets, commercial stores and vegetable stands to determine the extent of their commitment and maintain the stability of product prices as well as the reopening of four commercial stores.


The inspection teams also monitored 79 catering branches to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries.


The emergency center received 362 complaints via the hotline (135) and 44 complaints through the control centers, while the ration cards were issued and issued to 274 transactions (KUNA)
