KUWAIT CITY, May 4: As part of the ongoing inspection campaigns of Kuwait Municipality, the Emergency Team in the Hawally branch of the Municipality made a strong hit on traders of expired food commodities as it raided an unlicensed store in a residential building in Hawally. This resulted in the destruction of 10 tons of spoiled commodities and issuance of four citations.

Meanwhile, the Public Relations Department at the Municipality revealed the Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy Unit launched a campaign against illegal markets operated by a number of Asians in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. A total of four citations were issued during the campaign, in addition to the confiscation of four cargoes of used furniture and damaged electronic devices
