KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23: The Zain Premier League resumes after a 22-day hiatus due to World Cup and Asian Cup qualifiers with two exciting matches scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday. Al-Jahra faces Al-Nasr at the Friendship and Peace Stadium at 8:25 pm, while Al-Fahaheel takes on Kazma at the Al-Fahaheel Stadium at 10:10 pm.

The weekend action concludes on Sunday with two matches: Khaitan locks horns with Al-Shabab and Al-Qadsia plays Al-Salmiya. However, the highly anticipated clash between Kuwait and Al-Arabi has been postponed until December 3 due to their involvement in the AFC Cup competition.

Kuwait leads the league standings with 17 points, closely followed by Al-Qadsia with 15 points, and Al-Arabi in third place with 14 points. Al-Salmiya is fourth with 12 points, while Al-Nasr and Kazma share the fifth spot with 10 points each. Al-Shabab has 8 points, and Al-Fahaheel and Khaitan occupy the bottom of the table with 5 points each, while Al-Jahra lags behind with just one point.

In Saturday's matches, Al-Jahra seeks its first victory, and it marks the potential departure of coach Gasinier da Silva, with negotiations underway for a new coach. Meanwhile, Al-Nasr aims to build on recent positive results, including a notable victory over Al-Arabi in the last round.

The second match on Saturday features Kazma, eager to bounce back from a recent loss to Al-Qadsia, against Al-Fahaheel, looking to recover from a heavy defeat against Kuwait in the previous round and secure its second victory in the competition.
