KUWAIT CITY, Jan 27:  Zain Kuwait is sponsoring the Kuwait Super Cup, adding an exciting event to the local football calendar and keeping pace with the continued development of the sports scene in Kuwait, as well as growing public interest in high-value, highly competitive tournaments.

The announcement was made at a press conference held at the Kuwait Football Association’sheadquarters, attended by KFA President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, Zain Kuwait’s Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer Waleed Al-Khashti, as well as representatives of the Association and sponsors.

Zain reaffirmed that its support for sports is part of a long-term strategic approach focused on empowering youth, strengthening national belonging, and elevating the overall sports experience through stronger organization, fan engagement, and sustainable partnerships.

This step comes as an extension of Zain’s strategic partnership with the Kuwait Football Association, reflecting its commitment to supporting the football ecosystem across its key pillars, like the Zain Premier League (Dawri Zain), the First Division League, H.H. the Amir Cup, and H.H. the Crown Prince Cup.

This is in addition to Zain’s ongoing initiatives to stand behind the Kuwait national team “Al-Azraq” and its fans during overseas fixtures, its presence in major regional events such as Khaleeji Zain 26, and its role in supporting global football events hosted in Kuwait, such as the French Super Cup.

This approach is consistent with Zain’s corporate sustainability vision, which views sports events as platforms that showcase Kuwait’s image and organizational capabilities, while opening broader horizons for sports tourism and community engagement.

The Kuwait Super Cup is set to deliver strong matchups from the outset, with the first semi-final bringing together Al Arabi and Al Qadsia in a historic, high-profile derby, while the second semi-final features Kuwait SC and Al Salmiya.

Matches will be hosted at two of Kuwait’s leading stadiums, Jaber Al-Mubarak Stadium and Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, reflecting the readiness of the nation’s sports infrastructure to stage events that match the passion of Kuwaiti fans.

This support represents a qualitative addition to Zain’s partnership journey with the Kuwait Football Association and a reaffirmation of its ongoing commitment to developing the Kuwaiti football experience and supporting national sports through renewed platforms that enhance the sustainability of competitions, enrich fan attendance, and serve the aspirations of clubs, national teams, and the wider sports community.
