Zain hosted Drone Photography workshop

Kuwait City, Jan 28: The Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) hosted a special workshop that covered the basics of drone photography and videography, presented by the talented Kuwaiti photographer and content creator Omar Alsayed Omar. The workshop was joined by many enthusiasts and beginners looking to explore aerial photography and improve their skills.    

This session is a continuation of a series of specialized workshops Zain hosts from time to time to foster a culture of creativity in the community using technology. Through such initiatives, the company hopes to empower individuals to use tech innovation and pursue their passion for art, by bringing the best local content creators to share their insights and expertise with them.

During the workshop, Omar Alsayed Omar, a talented Kuwaiti photographer and popular content creator, explained the basics of aerial photography and videography using drones, focusing on both theoretical and practical approaches. He also asserted the importance of obtaining official permits before flying drones and emphasized the necessary steps to ensure safety while flying.

Omar Alsayed Omar also shared tips and tricks on how to operate drones, how to use the controller, how to prepare shots and take unique angles not possible with traditional cameras, and how each and every photographer can reflect their own personal touch in their work.

The workshop was well-received, having featured participation from many photography and camera enthusiasts. The participants varied in their skill levels, with beginners, intermediate, and advanced photographers successfully enrolling to upskill their passion in aerial photography and videography.
