Zain Diamond sponsor of 38th Al-Roudhan Football Tournament – Event under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah

KUWAIT CITY, May 17: Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, announced its Diamond sponsorship of the 38th edition of Al Roudhan Ramadan Football Tournament for the second consecutive year. The event comes under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The announcement was made during a press conference that was held at the company’s main headquarters, which witnessed the presence of Zain Kuwait’s Corporate Communications and Relations Director Waleed Al-Khashti, Head of Al-Roudhan Tournament’s Organizational Committee Abdullah Al-Roudhan, and Kuwait’s National Football Team player Waleed Ali.

During the press conference, Zain Kuwait’s Corporate Communications and Relations Director Waleed Al Khashti commented: “the Kuwaiti audiences look forward with great passion to Al-Roudhan Tournament every year, given the fact that it witnesses high levels of professionalism through both the competing local teams as well as the international football stars hosted”.

Al-Khashti added: “this tournament is considered the most prominent sports event in Kuwait during the Holy Month of Ramadan of every year, especially that it came under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah during the past five years”.

Al-Khashti continued: “the support of Kuwaiti sports will always be an integral part of Zain’s Corporate Sustainability strategy towards the youth and sports sector. As football is the most admired sport in Kuwait, Zain will always be at the forefront of this sport’s supporters, being a leading national company”.

Al-Khashti stressed that Zain will be present at Al Roudhan Tournament on a daily basis, where it will be interacting with the audiences through various competitions, activities, and entertainment programs. The company will also be distributing valuable prizes and holding daily challenges and competitions on its official social media channels.
