KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12: A man in his twenties landed in trouble after allegedly attempting to evade security checks by falsely claiming to be an officer with Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior.
According to a security source, checkpoint officers near the Fire Station Roundabout stopped the man, born in 2003, and asked him to produce identification. He reportedly told them he had no identification but claimed to work for the Ministry of Interior.
Suspicious of his claim, officers checked his details and discovered that he was not employed by the ministry. His attempt to pass himself off as a security officer was exposed, and he was referred to the competent authorities, with a case registered against him.
