KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8: A series of traffic incidents in Kuwait resulted in one person being injured and major disruptions along two major roads, Kabd Road and Al-Mutlaa.

In the early hours of yesterday evening, a young Kuwaiti man sustained injuries, including fractures, following a two-vehicle collision on the Kabd Expressway. The Ministry of Interior's operations room received an emergency call about the crash, prompting an immediate response from both patrol and ambulance teams. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities found that the accident involved two cars, with one driver — a young citizen — suffering significant injuries. He was quickly transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment and was admitted to the hospital's operations room. Meanwhile, traffic patrol officers worked to clear the wreckage and restore traffic flow by removing the damaged vehicles from the road.

In another incident, a truck loaded with food supplies overturned in Al-Mutlaa, injuring its driver. The Ministry of Interior received reports of the accident and dispatched both security and traffic patrols to the location. Upon arrival, officers found a significant traffic jam caused by the overturned vehicle. To alleviate congestion, one of the lanes was closed off while emergency personnel worked to offload the truck's contents and prepare it for recovery. The driver of the truck, who sustained injuries, was transported by medical emergency teams to the hospital. Fortunately, his condition was reported as stable.
