KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25: Yarmouk Tennis Club showcased its brilliance at the conclusion of the Kuwaiti Tennis Federation’s under-18 championship. The tournament wrapped up two days ago, with the Vice President of the Kuwaiti Tennis Federation, Abdulredha Al-Ghareeb, in attendance at the final match and the awards ceremony.
In the singles final, Yarmouk Club’s player, Yaacoub Youssef, secured victory by defeating his fellow club member, Hussein Al-Shatti, with a score of 7-6, 6/4. Meanwhile, in the doubles final, the Yarmouk Club duo, comprised of Yaqoub Youssef and Hussein Al-Shatti, emerged victorious over the Khaitan Club duo, consisting of Abdullah Dahrab and Omar Mahjoub, with a score of 6-0 ,6-1. In the final rankings of the participating clubs in the championship, Yarmouk Club claimed the top spot with 346 points, followed by Khaitan Club in second place with 189 points, Kuwait Club securing third place with 96 points, Salmiya Club in fourth place with 76 points, and Sulaibikhat Club Club rounding out the top five with 16 points.”
