Worker Dies in Elevator Shaft Fall at Building Under Construction

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 21: A worker died on Sunday morning after falling from a height into an elevator shaft at a building under construction in the Al-Mutlaa area, authorities said.

Firefighting teams from Al-Mutlaa Central, along with search and rescue personnel, responded to the incident after receiving a report about the fall.

Emergency teams dealt with the situation at the site, but the worker was pronounced dead as a result of the incident.

The scene was later handed over to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal and investigative procedures.
