Women’s gang running call center

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19:Three Asian women and an Asian man were arrested for running an illegal international telephone exchange in Jleeb Shuyouk area. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling Jleeb Al-Shuyouk area when they stopped an Asian expatriate to check his identification documents. After revealing that he was not carrying his documents, he ran away and securitymen chased him until he entered an apartment which was being used as an illegal international telephone exchange by three Asian women.

Asians robbed: The Ahmadi police have arrested three men — a Kuwaiti and two unidentified persons — for assaulting and robbing Asians, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the arrest came when some of the suspects reported the incident to the police and gave police the car plate number. Police investigation led to the owner of the car, a Kuwaiti in his 50s. During interrogation he admitted that the car is registered in his name but he said the vehicle is being used by his son. When the 21-year-old jobless son was confronted he admitted to the charge and gave police the names of his two accomplices, who were picked from Al-Qurain.

Wife threatens man: An unidentified Kuwaiti has filed a complaint with the Adan Police Station accusing his wife of sending him threatening text messages, reports Al- Rai daily.
