KUWAIT CITY, May 16: The Public Prosecution affirmed its pride in the remarkable achievements of Kuwaiti women in various fields of judicial work, praising the vital role that female public prosecutors play in supporting the justice system and upholding the rule of law. In a statement issued on the occasion of Kuwaiti Women’s Day, the Public Prosecution pointed out that since the first batch of female public prosecutors joined, Kuwaiti women have proven their professional competence and capability in conducting investigations, handling cases and prosecuting in courts, reflecting their ability to shoulder judicial responsibilities in a highly efficient manner. It added that women in the Public Prosecution now occupy leadership positions, contribute to developing legal initiatives, and represent it in local and international forums.
They are also active in legal training and awareness programs, which have strengthened their professional and institutional presence within the judicial system. It attributed the achievements of Kuwaiti women to the support they receive in various State institutions. It indicated that the occasion is a manifestation of the solid position that Kuwaiti women have attained and their competence in fulfilling their national and judicial duties with utmost dedication and integrity. It then reaffirmed its commitment to fully support qualified Kuwaiti women and empower them to efficiently play their role in serving justice and society, keeping pace with developments in the judicial system, and intensifying institutional reform and development efforts.
